Think less. Live more.
From Overthinking to Peace of Mind
Hello and welcome! I’m Beth, and I’m really glad you found your way here.
If you’ve landed on this blog, there’s a good chance you know what it feels like to live inside your head. Maybe you replay conversations long after they’ve ended, second-guess decisions, or imagine everything that could go wrong.
It’s exhausting. It drains your energy, clouds your perspective, and can make everyday moments feel heavier than they need to be.
As a licensed therapist, I hear versions of this every day. And it’s exactly why I started Think Less. Live More.
Why Overthinking Feels So Hard
Overthinking isn’t a personal flaw. Often, it’s our mind trying, sometimes too hard, to protect us.
Our brains naturally scan for risks, try to solve problems, and anticipate what might happen next. But when that internal alarm won’t stop ringing, it can lead to anxiety, rumination, and a sense of being trapped in our own mind.
We’re rarely taught that we have any choice when it comes to our thoughts. A thought appears, and we go with it, often without realizing we have another option.
Over time, these patterns begin to shape how we feel and how we experience daily life. It can start to feel as though our thoughts are in control.
The most important change isn’t learning how to “fix” our thoughts, but recognizing that it’s possible to experience them differently.
Ultimately, this blog is about making sense of your thoughts and realizing that while they’re powerful, they don’t have to control you. Thoughts are events in your mind, not facts you have to follow.

A Bit About Me
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master’s degree in public health, providing therapy to adults across NY, CT, PA, VA, FL, and TX. My work focuses on helping people living with anxiety, depression, trauma, or overthinking move toward a life of more ease and presence. Through evidence-based approaches like CBT, EMDR, and mindfulness, I help people build awareness and self-trust.
I envision a world where growth is valued over perfection, and handling life’s challenges feels less overwhelming.
