Online Therapy for High-Functioning Anxiety in Connecticut

In areas like Fairfield County and throughout Connecticut, many people are used to maintaining a high level of performance while quietly managing stress beneath the surface. If you’re dealing with anxiety, overthinking, or pressure to keep everything together, therapy can offer a different way forward.

I work with adults with demanding careers, long commutes, and the ongoing pull between professional and personal responsibilities. Our work focuses on helping you step out of constant mental loops, reduce anxiety, and feel more present and in control of your day-to-day life.

I also support women moving through transitions in career, identity, and family that can bring up self-doubt and internal pressure. By understanding the patterns beneath the surface, we work toward lasting mental resilience and a greater sense of ease.

Areas of Focus

• Anxiety, chronic worry, or racing thoughts

• Depression, low mood, or emotional numbness

• Trauma or unresolved past experiences

• Overthinking, self-doubt, or self-criticism

• Burnout, stress, or emotional overwhelm

• Difficulty trusting yourself or your decisions

How I Work

Therapy with me is conversational, compassionate, and practical. I create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore what’s happening internally while gaining tools to apply in daily life.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that contribute to anxiety, depression, and emotional distress.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is for people who want to work through past experiences that still affect them today. EMDR is a trauma-informed approach that helps you process memories safely and at your own pace.

Mindfulness-Based Approaches

Mindfulness practices help you notice your thoughts, emotions, and physical feelings without judgment. These skills can reduce reactivity, ease stress, and support a greater sense of calm and presence in daily life.

★ You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people seek support because they feel “stuck,” mentally exhausted, or disconnected from themselves despite functioning well on the outside.
